Lucrecia Laurito: We have a 2005 Acura TL. We are actually getting ready to sell it because we got an SUV. Great car, low maintenance! Just take care of it. For $8K it should be perfect and all up to date on maintenance, like the timing belt should be replaced, tires should be like new, breaks should be new, transmission services recently. Ours has 155K and is still in great shape, no issues.
Verdie Wollen: No.
Toshiko Reimers: 8000 is way too much for that car. look at blue book pricing for your model and take that number to the dealer and bargain for a better price.also look at the maintenance schedule for that car. Over 100k miles you need at least a timing belt and water pump for sure as well as a good tune up and ya this is spendy11 Im sure it runs fine but to keep it running good you need to maintain it like the owners manual says....Show more
Leora Klingelhoets: is
Oda Mauson: Yes. Acura is basically Honda so take it to any Honda place. It ! uses the same parts as Honda so it isn't too hard to maintain.
Darwin Ecton: Acuras are one of the cheapest luxury/premium cars to maintain, they are cheaper then their cross country rivals like Lexus and Infiniti not to mention their more demanding rivals like Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz. Acura is essentially a Honda, I say that because Acura only exist in the North American market, to most of the world the TSX is known as a Honda Accord in Europe for example. They are great cars, very reliable and long lasting, not to mention cheap. Its a great car for a person who doesn't want just another Camry but rather something with a sportier edge to it but something that doesn't require the hefty maintenance cost of a pricey luxury car. Like any premium car, maintenance cost will be higher but in an Acura's case they share the same parts with Honda so maintenance is relatively affordable....Show more
Kirk Coolbeth: Dude u can do way better for 8,000 bucks. Unless that ! car is in my immaculate condition I would find a different one! . That car is probably worth more closer to 5,500. Even less if it needs the timing belt changed soon.No. Acuras are not extensive to maintain. But are more than a Chevrolet. But far less than vw or Mercedes. If it budget is 8,000 bucks I would find something 2008 or newer.God bless...Show more
Lenard Ginyard: 8 grand for a 14 year old car?
Marielle Hedeiros: 1st thing to do w/any vehicle you may want to purchase is to pay $ 100 or so for a mechanic to do a complete inspection of all systems; better to find before you buy that the engine may only last 100 miles !!!
