Alecia Kaehler: do a google search for 'orange county florida parks and recreation department' they have a contact number and information there.
Manie Labat: If you are staying in a Disney hotel, then parking at the parks is free.Personally, buses are my least favorite form of transportation. I would rather fly, bike, walk, ride a horse, row a boat, anything except ride a bus. Maybe I should see a therapist on this. It sounds kind of like a phobia when I actually type it out...We always rent a car (or have our own) because we stay off-site. A few trips ago we decided to use the buses to hop between parks. The wait was a bummer. After 15 minutes waiting for a bus, it dawned on us that we could just drive there since your daily parking fee is good for all parks. If you plan to go off-site, and you get a good deal on your car, then a car might really be worth it. If you don't plan to go off-site then it really might not.Have fun. Wish I was going....Show more
!Arleen Bussing: Last summer, we met all the Princesses.... but the only Princes we met were Prince Neveen from The Princess and The Frog and Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid. My daughter really wants to meet Flynn.... but I heard he's only there once in a blue?? We spent most of our time at Magic Kingdom. Epcot was kind of boring to us, so we didn't walk the entire thing. But I heard the Princesses are there also??
Tomeka Hameen: It's a natural phenomenon.
Phil Kuarez: The princes rarely make appearances in the parks. They usually make appearances for Valentine's Day and during the Halloween and Christmas parties. You might be able to see some of them during some of the parades. I don't think Flynn is at any of the character meals. I believe that the only princes that appear at character meals are the Beast at Be Our Guest and Prince Charming at Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare.
Shane Getler: Try doing a websearch or check! ing the want ads. Most lakes/springs in Orlando FL do not allo! w swimming any time of the year and winter is probably not the best time to be trying to get a lifeguard job at one. I would suggest checking out one of the area hotels or resorts as they all do hire for lifeguards.
Granville Stray: The princes rarely appear at Disney, usually just during the holiday parties. Flynn was around quite a bit right after the release of Tangled, but is no longer a regular character there. The princes also are not part of the princess character meals. The main exception is that Prince Charming appears at the 1900 Park Fare meal.
Cliff Tyre: you get what you pay for. i usually stay at grand floridan and busses aren't a problem. We pay more so we expect better service and more frequent busses.
Lonnie Jehle: If you know and know where the infomation will to present this put the link on your post.
Oscar Wieland: I always stay offsite and rent a house now, but before when I used to stay at Disney, I always preferred renting ! a car. The buses are not horrible, but they are not perfect either. I liked having my own car for the reasons you are talking about - sometimes the buses just didn't come when they should have! You just feel like you are in control if you have your own vehicle instead of having to depend on someone else's timetable. And we found that if we had our own car, we saved money on food because we ate offsite more. If you can afford it, I would rent a car. Parking will be free if you are staying at a Disney hotel, so that's not a concern....Show more
Marco Stolarz: I'm sorry, Flynn is only out during the Halloween and Christmas parties. You can try your best to go to one of these? I would recommend the Halloween party, you can go from late september to early november. It's a separate ticket price but you can get in as early as four and it runs pretty late. There are tons of characters out, and you'd be able to meet most of the princes. As for normal days though, the only! other one that's out regularly is Aladdin....Show more
Ronnie Ba! rcus: stay at a different resort. all of them are great and you will get better bus service from another resort.ARe you over 25? check out car rental places. Most will not rent a car to someone under 25
Hope Lundmark: Definitely sounds like renting a car would be a good deal. You can usually get great deals as part of a package through a travel agent and this way you can get away from the parks for a day or so if you want.
Jonelle Eligio: You're right to think about the pros and cons. There really are plenty of both. You hit the two obvious ones on the head (pro would be more freedom to wander, and less time waiting for buses, boats and monorails, con would be the expense). If you are a WDW Resort guest, which you'd be if you stay at Pop again, you get free parking at all WDW Theme Parks and other resorts. So you might want to add that to your list of 'pros' of renting a car - free parking....Show more
Burt Cheevers: If you stay at an on-site Disney hotel y! ou DO NOT have to pay for parking. My advice if you choose to rent a car is to drive it there in the morning and use the resort bus if you want to leave the park for a mid-afternoon break. Take the resort bus back and continue your day at the park. When the park closes your vehicle will still be parked near the front of the lot, which will save walking time.It may have just seemed like your bus was the last to come. My hubby and I were there last week and were staying at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. We were waiting for a bus outside the Hollywood Studios park and 4 Animal Kingdom buses went by, and 3 Saratoga Springs. I was annoyed, but it always seems like your bus is the last one, simply because it's the one you're waiting for. I've been to Disney 17x and never rented a car because it's just not worth the extra expense. I'd rather put that money towards something fun, not a rental car. Plus, although the buses are sometimes slow in coming or packed,! it's just sort of the Disney experience, and they are free. If you ar! e already planning for May '10 you should be able to budget the money now, though. Just aim to have everything (and I mean everything) paid in full by March... that way it isn't a big hit to the pocketbook to have to pay for the car, buy your tickets, etc....Show more
Elsie Resner: The monorail is going purely to Epcot and Magic Kingdom parks. you may get the monorail from the cutting-edge motel, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. yet there's a bus that would take you to the monorail out of your motor vehicle parking area needs you get into magic kingdom or Epcot some inns have trip buses which will take you to accepted subject parks interior the section you may call beforehand and ask for info or you may seem on line There are buses that run from the value motels to the parks and Downtown Disney. To get to different motels and the water parks, you will maximum many times obtain the suggestion to take a bus to Downtown Disney, then flow to the different motel bu! s. in case you're able to get everywhere on the Boardwalk in the time of park working hours, you may take a bus out of your motel to hollywood studios amd stroll or there is an option of an boat confident...there are boats, too. yet they're purely specifically aspects it incredibly is much less complicated once you go out a topic park. The motel buses %. you up precise on the front of each park. there is an indication which will direct you to which bus you're able to take. There are individual buses for each motel. Your ultimate wager is to get a WDW Transportation Map from the front table once you verify in. The map delivers alot of assistance which will help you on your trip and inform you importanat assistance.youcan additionally flow to customer amenities with any issues or you may confer with an park worker at any 2nd...Show more
Cherry Stampka: My boyfriend and I went to see the Oviedo lights the other night. It took us forever to find the bridge in the dark, a! nd I don't think we could've gotten down there if it hadn't been for hi! s pickup truck. We waited a long time and didn't see anything, but then we saw a small dot of light blinking on the water. This was weird, because there wasn't any airplane or anything. Then the blinking light started to move!!! It floated over the water and passed right in front of the truck, close to the ground. After blinking for a few minutes, it went back to the water where it came from. This was pretty creepy, but my boyfriend and I both got out to investigate. Just then, there was a splash in the water (I think it was just a fish), but it scared us enough to get back in the truck and drive off.It wasn't swamp gas, because my dad saw the gas before and it wasn't anything like he had seen. And we didnt make it up, either, because my boyfriend caught it on video, and you can actually see the lights!!!!...Show more
Lulu Bukowiecki: To answer your question, nope, I have never seen it. Sounds neat though.
Adam Momaya: Well, the good news is, we stayed a! t the Pop Century the first week of May. The bus situation has improved, but it certainly isn't fixed.Renting a car is a good idea, you are able to drive to the parks at park for free. It is also nice if you make reservations at other hotel restaurants to drive there. My husband and I went on our honeymoon. We found that it was worth it to have a car when we were hungry at night or needed simple items that could be purchased from Walmart. It was also nice to be able to take a day trip to Cape Canaveral. So, as long as you stay at a resort parking will be free and you have the luxury of going where you want to go and when you want to get there.Have fun!...Show more
Betsey Copp: The easiest way to meet the princes and princesses are either at character dining experiences or at specific character spots where characters come throughout the day. For example Snow White can be seen at the Norway pavilion in Epcot every hour (or so). Different character dining experience! s can be found on Disneyworld.com . Go to dining and check "character" ! to see all the different options. In the description it should say if it is a prince/princess dining or not. (There are also character dinings with Winnie the pooh, ect.) To see Flynn specifically, I'm not sure if that would be listed under the information for a specific dining, but a prince/princess dining would be your best bet. Be sure to book your reservation far in advanced, they sell out quick!...Show more
Loise Mausser: just got back from the pop century a few weeks ago and had no issues with the bus. sometimes you had to wait for a short while but you just deal with it. sometimes there were two buses there to pick us up from the park. pop century is the best since there is only one bus stop - all the other disney resorts have multiple stops which just take up more time! rent a car and you will get lost on disney property! parking at the parks is like 10-12 bucks a day.
Aldo Decurtis: All these questions should go to customer service
