World Wrestling Federation to World Wrestling Entertainment?

Alden Soldano: I was born during the New Generation Era and I was a huge fan since, but then when I turned 3-4 years old it turned into the Attitude Era, and I was told my my mom that I had to limit my watch of wrestling along with my brother, I didn't really get into wrestling till I got much older in the Ruthless Agression Era and I started doing research on the sport and I found out myself that it is scripted which bummed me out, but I didnt care afterward but I still watched, then I started going to shows, I went to my first show in 2002 at the Armageddon show in my hometown of Orlando, FL, 15 or so mins away from my house at the Amway and it was a great show live. But, what separates the wrestling now and the wrestling then is that WWE is trying to make the wrestling of today about wrestling and also bringing in entertainment vaule, but there trying to bring back the term "wrestling" back....Show more

Providencia Serpe: I personally believe Wrestling got good w! hen the Monday Night War was going on. After that, it slowly tumbled into obscurity. Wrestling era 1997-2004. That's when wrestling was good for me. It was entertainment at it's very best. Nowadays, it's bad. Im MERCURYX and I approve this answer.

Clemmie Burkleo: 1) Rey Mysterio. Great wrestler, works great matches. He has great in-ring psychology with so many great wrestlers like John Morrison, and Chris Jericho. He can steal the show in matches with CM Punk, John Morrison, and Chris Jericho. He is a unique wrestler and he never fails to entertain me. His "Ultimate Underdog" gimmick is always an entertaining way to add a twist to the story-lines (at least sometimes) because he isn't scared of anyone. 2) The Hardy's. I always found them as a very entertaining duo. Matt with the TOF and Jeff with the Swanton. I love it. They are a great tag team IMO. Usually I don't like a tag team that has 2 different wrestling styles but The Hardy's are different. 3) Rey Mysterio. 4! ) The Miz "I Came to Play" 5) Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho is ! way more entertaining than Randy Orton. Orton seems to always work the same match with the same moves and his gimmick is getting a bit boring. He can be entertaining at some points but nowhere near Jericho. Jericho has a great move-set, one of the biggest move-sets in the WWE. And he is hilarious on the mic, heel or face. 6) Kaval. I don't see whats so special about Wade Barrett, people are saying he is great in the ring, judging by his 5 minute matches on NXT? We already know how great of a wrestler Kaval is, from wrestling in Japan, TNA, and ROH. Kaval is one of the greatest in-ring wrestlers currently in wrestling. 7) Currently it's BY FAR TNA. TNA has been out performing RAW as of late. RAW has been being good, but it has been having the same matches, TNA is way more unpredictable. They don't have rematch after rematch. This past week on TNA, TNA fans saw Abyss slam Tommy Dreamer into barbwire, Chris Sabin doing a crossbody off the top of a steel cage, and an awesome se! gment with the ECW originals. RAW just had some segments with Team WWE, and thats really it. TNA also has way more better wrestling, esppecially with their knockouts division. 8) Disagree. Evan Bourne is an incredible wrestler, if anything he is underrated because WWE doesn't use him to his full ability. 9) DX. The tag team "Jeri-Show" should have never happened, that was never a good idea. Those 2 had no in-ring chemistry whatsoever. 10) MCMG & Beer Money. I wasn't around when it was 'Steiner Brothers" and "Harlem Heat" so I can only say team in the 2000's to be honest....Show more

Delmy Varano: im from the attitude era and there will never be another one like it. im a huge HBK fan, and naturally have a strong dislike towards bret hart, i remember when he called HHH and HBK a bunch of degenerates, hince the name Degeneration-X, when they were first a heel faction. The Rock, he was the total package. the trail blazin, eyebrow raisin, pie eatin, jabroni beatin, heart s! toppin, elbow droppin, the most electrifying man in sports entertainmen! t, THE ROCK! The Texas rattle snake Stone Cold Steve Austin, i remember when HHH was Hunter Herst Hemsley, the englishman. When The Undertaker crusified stephanie mcmahon and stone cold in the Mynistry of Darkness. the last story line, and my favorite, that really rocked was when WCW and ECW invaded WWF. Even before the attitude era, i remember Jake "The Snake" Roberts, having his cobra bite Macho Man Randy Savage. The ladder match with razor ramone and HBK, the intense rivalry between bret hart and owen hart, i can go on and on! we will never see that again as long as vince keeps his demographics (average age of the audience) starting around 7 years old. but, it looks like theyre trying to go ease back into it, and unify the shows. before the Rock was given his own show SMACKDOWN! so yes, WWF ALL THE WAY!...Show more

Will Camus: no offense but i think the attitude era was overrated (It was awesome but it wasn't as awesome as what people said it is)RUTHLESS AGGRESSIO! N ERA FTW!

Leif Serabia: honestly WWE is OK but even though i have never watched WWF i bet its way better did you see cena's farewell speech?! they blepped out the word b*tch! wow nice job WWE

Freddy Shutler: I liked the attitude era more because of what it brought to the table in terms of bringing wrestling back into mainstream media and all that jazz. But in all reality the wrestling now is better than it was during that time. WWE is really starting to sign guys who can actually put on great matches and the fans are recognizing that and appreciating it.BTW the WWF did not just include 97-2002. It was also in the 80s and 90s as well. Now the argument I really want to see: Was the WWWF better than the WWF and/or WWE.anyway, as I was saying. Was the attitude era (WWF) awesome? Yes. Was it better than today's WWE? Not necessarily....Show more
