Caryl Mclaen: For most colleges you need to be accepted by audition to the dance department as well as academically into the school. With only a GED that would leave schools like NYU Tisch out because they also expect high academics and they are academically very competitive. The only school I can think of that has a good program that only requires high school diploma is Juilliard. You don't need any of the SAT testing to get in there. However, they are one of the hardest schools to get into and many professional level dancers can be passed over there. They only accept 12 girls and 12 boys into their freshman class.
