Donovan Stallons: This really depends what you want to go for. A Level 8 pianist may think Vocals are for suckers who don't know music, while an actor might scold at Visual Arts because "who needs drawing?". If you want to get into instruments, go into Introductory Instrumental. If you're a manga artist or love watercolor art, go into Visual Arts. If you like to sing, Vocals. Act, Dramatic Arts. I was never really an arts-person, so I took everything except Drama. My sister, on the other hand is a musician and took Piano all throughout her high school. I highly recommend you look into ALL the arts programs for Grades 10, 11, and 12 as well. I wanted to do Grade 12 Photography this year, but I had found out at the very last minute that you needed at least two years in Visual Arts programs to take a Photography course. Buggers. So if there's a class, like Dance for example, that you want to take in the future, make sure you know all the courses you have to take to get in Da! nce. Also, don't trust Guidance Counselors - or whoever sets your school timetable - so much. If you ask them what class they recommend, they'll just throw you into whatever class has tons of space left just for their own convenience. Hope I helped!...Show more
