You could make paintings for magik cards or covers for books and cd's. Architecture is always looking for change. There's a lot of people in history who were successful because they crossed disciplines too. And Film, people love visually striking movies. Prop designer, Special fx. Game design if your into gaming and computers. There's some design going on in small wind power. You could steampunk items and sell em on the internet. Make speaker housings that look like stuff.
