Why is makeup, called makeup?

and bring character into your face

flaunt it, all those people will be jealous, I know I would be! Also,
most people are much younger than you when they start wearing makeup.
Being 17 and wearing a bit of makeup is perfectly fine, normal, and
reasonable. Also, since your a beginner, the stares might be because:
your foundation is cakey, your eyeshadow isn't blended, your mascara
is too clumpy, or you have too much lipstick on. I'm not saying all of
these things are true but just giving you a couple things to make sure

new look, make up is called such because it's the parts that make up

such as someones D.N.A. makeup. So when you put on cosmetics its term
is basically defined as make-up or an "alter"to your face which is the
