Marya Fehn: You buy one at the store, and write your own title in sharpie. There are pre-made game engines that you can build around, but that isn't really you making your own game.

Antonia Quinnett: If that were possible - millions or programmers, sound engineers, graphic designers, 3D artists etc would be out of a job and wouldn't have wasted their lives by dedicating all their time to developing their skills. Game companies would save millions by not hiring the above-mentioned. You can get crappy 'MMORPG Maker' and stuff like that but they're a load of bollocks. Ilana Gaster: There are quite a few video game makers that will let you make simple video games with an easy to use interface. My 3 favorites are:1. http://www.yoyogames.com/make2. http://sandboxgamemaker.com/3. http://t3dgm.thegamecreators.com/They are pretty limited and won't help you gain the knowledge necessary to eventually become a game programmer. I would recommend spending some time learning something like JavaScript to see if you might have an interest in computer programming.
